New Word: Location

 Welcome everyone! We're reaching the final preparations before we start the actual filming process and become one step closer to wrapping things all up! However before we can do that, some big questions need to be solved for, for example, where exactly are we filming...? In this group it is I who had been tasked with answering this big question, so after much consideration, after sleepless nights, I've finally brought to the world an answer: My House! In all seriousness We're going be recording my house for a few key reasons. First is scenery, as the front of my house is very open and bright, with very little trees and not a lot of traffic as I live higher up from a lot of people. This is key because the openness of the area will allow for a pleasing establishing shot in the beginning of our film. The next reason why we chose my house was the internal layout of my house. By design, the kitchen counter in my house is an island counter, so they are no real walls blocking my kitchen from my living room. This is great because it will allow us to be able to record scenes in the kitchen from farther the way if needed, but also to seamlessly transition from one room in the house to the other and our viewers will easily be able to understand. The last reason to tie everything together, is because of the road structure of my house. Less than 20 seconds down the street I have an intersection in my neighborhood that has a lot of space around it. This helps us tremendously as the key element in our shot will be the car crash at the end of our film. I've explained previously how we plan to shoot this scene, and one of the main parts needed is an intersection. By utilizing the one near my house, not only are we going to have more space to properly film the scene from the best possible angle, but we're able to do it safely in an intersection where cars do not pass often through. Safety is the biggest thing and the safer we are when filming, the better the film production will be. While it is true other houses may have some of these features too, the reason we decided on my house, was because my house provides us with all of these features at the same time, making it our best choice of location strategically speaking.
